Darcy Darcy in the Swiss ChardOne of the more important visions that we share as a community is the call to care for God's creation. We strive to live and worship in as "green" a manner as we can by composting, using washable mugs, dinnerware, and linens. We also use "green" cleaning supplies, and have an active recycling program. Our garden helps us remember our connection to the earth. We plant flowers for the spirit and food for the body. We have given hundreds of pounds of food to local food pantries, and have partipated in the Urban Harvest Farmer's Market. We share our gardening space with other organizations such as the Girls Scouts of America. Anyone is welcome to garden with us and learn (as we are) the techniques of organic and sustainable gardening. Talk to any of the gardeners to find out when to join us.
